Daimeng completed his undergraduate program in 2023 at the University of California, San Diego, with a bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology. Prior to Joining the Telese Lab as a master's student, Daimeng volunteered at the Scintillon Institute to study blood-brain barrier junction proteins under the mentorship of Dr. Irene Pedersen. He is currently a master's student studying the developmental trajectories of interneurons in the mouse adolescent brain that may provide insights into psychiatric disorders. In his free time, he enjoys reading and following sports.
